Esther M. Betancourt is Sr. Director of Engineering for Communications Systems, a L3Harris business offering a broad product portfolio, including tactical and airborne radios, and defense and public safety networks. Betancourt assumed the position of director in July 2015. She leads the capture, development and delivery of products and solutions for C4I programs worldwide. She reports to the Vice President of Engineering. Betancourt serves on the board of the Rochester Engineering Society and is the Director of Academic Outreach for the Project Management Institute, Rochester Chapter. Betancourt has a Bachelor’s in Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico – Mayaguez and holds five U.S. patents.
